I'm a Harry Potter ~~addict~~ fan and procrastinator. One fateful day I was supposed to be working on an essay, but instead I opened up Paint and started to doodle. In less than a minute I had created my very first piece of Harry Potter art.

I thought it was pretty darn ugly.

So I drew some more (yeah, I handed that essay in late). I had been posting them in my every day journal for awhile when my friends started to harass me to create a journal specifically for my art. After procrastinating some more, I finally created

wizzart. Get it? Wizard - Art - Wizzart. Clever, I know. I didn't think of it myself. Since there are already a ton of immensely talented HP fan artists out there, I decided to declare myself the worst.

The art is old school. ~~I don't use Photoshop or anything fancy-dancy like that.~~ All of my art is all done by hand (though you won't see those ones 'cause I don't have a scanner) and then transferred into Paint. Recently, I received Photoshop, so

wizzart is now high tech! The base of every picture is still done in paint, the only thing that I do in Photoshop is re-touch the hair/clothes, to make the artwork look more...dare I say it, professional.

The art isn't intended for children, so if your parents still have those plastic things over electric sockets or you need to stand on a stool in order to brush your teeth, then you should stick to the Wiggles. Those guys are pretty funny.

If you ~~are a loser with no sense of humour~~ are easily offended, I also recommend you stick to the Wiggles.

New friends are always welcome, so if you like what you see, feel free to friend the journal.

1. have a sense of humour. yeah. it's a rule. if you don't,

wizzart is not the place for you.

2. respect everyone and their opinions.

3. respect moi. i don't take requests. i ship harry & ginny, ron & hermione, lily & james, and draco & me. don't ask me to draw a pairing like harry & hermione when you know that ship makes me throw up a little in my mouth. there are a plethora of incredibly talented HP artists out there. if you want to see slash, or H/Hr, or D/G, then shoo - shoo. go find the artists that ship them. i daresay they're more talented than i.

however, all shippers are more than welcome here! you can ship harry & hermione, draco & harry, or dobby & umbridge, i don't care. all i ask is that you understand that i ship differently.

4. no direct/hot-linking - no right-clicking and copying the url. that's called bandwidth theft, and it makes me cry like cho chang.

5. NO PETTY LJ DRAMA!!! if you don't listen, i'll boot you out, kreacher style.

6. there will be absolutely no shipping debates on this journal. as far as i'm concerned anything (except H/Hr) is possible. all shippers are welcome, but if you can't get along, you will be banned.

7. credit. if you want to make some

wizzart icons, you are more than welcome to. in fact, i encourage it, but please make sure that you credit me. if you wish to make a header or layout using

wizzart art, please comment first, and make sure to credit

wizzart in your user!info.

8. this is starting to sound like those stupid lists they put up on the board in pre-school. basically, play nice, kids, and look both ways before you cross the street!
